For the longest time, I believed that non-stop hustle was the golden ticket to success—that more hours meant more achievements. I’d tell myself, “Sleep is for the weak!” But lately, I’ve started questioning this notion. I realized that the glorification of overwork was more of a recipe for burnout than for long-term success. It hit me like a surprise Monday morning: when you don’t give yourself permission to rest, you’re basically running on fumes. Embracing balance and self-care has opened up a whole new perspective on productivity—one where creativity and well-being are not mutually exclusive. Who knew that taking a break could be as revolutionary as finding a hidden stash of chocolate?
